The world is changing based on many external factors. Face to face interactions are being replaced by Zoom interactions. Technology is becoming an ever increasing part of how we interact with one another. Social media has replaced many of the ways we used to affect other people.
In marketing today, the human interaction is even more critical as the personal connection has been diminished by social media. I have found videos are a great vehicle to connect with people. In videos, you get to control what is said and how the information is disseminated. How you sound and your mannerisms are important to help others relate to you.
You send out a particular vibe and people react to it. You come across in an authentic manner. The question of who you are is answered more explicitly in a video. In this way your signal connects with people. Some feel this is someone I can relate to. You are someone I want to get to know better and you are a person I want to do business with. Just as important, there are others who might recognize you are not a company our business relates to. This self-selection process helps you acquire mostly customers who connect with what you believe in.
