It may say March but in my mind it is the beginning of Spring and just as important the end of Winter. If you’re in a cold climate like me, that means no more constant wearing of layered clothes, gloves, hats, and snow boots. You can begin to transition to looser fitting outer wear and become freer in your movements.
That takes care of the physical outerwear transition.
Now what about your inner self?
I have found it is equally important to let go of your “Winter mindset”. What does that mean?
First, recognize that you survived another Winter season and celebrate that accomplishment. My celebration always involves ice cream with hot fudge and whipped cream. That puts me in a good mood!
Now, I think about all kinds of creative ideas that I want to get working on this Spring. I do not limit my thinking in any way. Some ideas include: a new product that would help expand my business, updating my website to better reflect who I want to be, plus a video that demonstrates who I have helped become better at what they do. All of these concepts focus on making for a better future for myself, my business, and my customers.
Spring is a season of new beginnings. Think about who you can begin anew with.
