The year is approaching the half way mark. It’s a great time to check in and review your New Year’s goals.
I have found that with the weather improving, I am outside more, and my outlook on business and life, in general, is much freer. Nature has a natural way of connecting me with my inner self. I see more opportunities and see more people too. So what I do is on a bright sunny day, I find a park bench or go on a swing returning to a childhood activity where everything is possible and look at my goals I set in January. Putting oneself in a positive growth oriented mindset is critical when looking at goals, and setting new future ones as well.
My 2023 resolutions were set almost 6 months ago. I look at them one by one and see how I have done. Next, I determine if any of them need to be revised or updated based on events that have impacted me personally or other external happenings that have impacted the general business climate. Finally, I add a couple of new goals for the rest of the year. It is critical to keep striving for more.
I have found this approach makes me feel like I am beginning anew as if June 1 is like a second New Year.
I am starting fresh and reinvigorated to attack my goals and meet my expectations for myself and my business. Celebrate where you have been successful. Then celebrate the second New Year with all its new opportunities across your personal life and business too. After all business and personal have merged and they are no longer separate. Seek ways to build synergy across both of them.
I suggest you review your resolutions and add some new ones too. Then, let me know how you feel on your new path to growth with your beginning a second New Year. 🎇
PS I can’t wait to hear about your successes in June!💪
