It’s National Ice Cream Month + National Ice Cream Day All In July 🍨🎉🥰
As a society we go from one event or one task to the next. We have an endless list of to-do’s. We never seem to have enough time to get everything we set out to do… done.
What’s a person to do?
I believe a key part of getting things done is how you feel about doing the tasks and what happens when you finish something.
In other words your mindset matters!
I believe in celebrating successes no matter how small. Victories should never be minimized. Flourishing is something you can build upon.
After all, getting something done is progress and it means you are getting closer to your goals. You are growing.
Now, a critical part of any success is how you celebrate.🎉
July is National Ice Cream Month. I celebrate as much as possible with Ice Cream.🍨
I have multiple go to Ice Cream Celebrations.
I use a scoop of Ice Cream for small wins and when there is not as much time. In these settings, I go with a rich Chocolate Ice Cream, something like double Chocolate Fudge Brownie. If I am at home a pint suffices. If I go to an Ice Cream Shop I get 2 scoops.
Inside Tip
To get more, get your Ice Cream in a cup as you can have it mashed down more which means more Ice Cream than with a cone which breaks if pushed too hard. 😉
For bigger accomplishments, I move on to sundaes or milkshakes. My favorite sundae is made with hot fudge and 3 scoops of Coffee Ice Cream topped with whipped cream. (I leave out the cherry as it is usually not natural.)
My favorite milkshake is a hot fudge milkshake where they line the container with hot fudge then add, you guessed it, Coffee Ice Cream. I also ask for skim milk as I watch my calories here.😇
For the major successes, I multiply the desserts together. The above 2 work well together. I then end with Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream as the mint flavor aids in digestion.😉
Just thinking of the Ice Cream rewards spur me on to accomplish more. I guess you could say Ice Cream is a real motivator for me.
July has become one of my favorite months. I love celebrating throughout the month. You should do that too.
My only question is:
Do I get more done in July because Ice Cream is my reward or am I just being more efficient in the beginning of the second half of the year?🤔
PS🍨 National Ice Cream Day is July 16th. Get ready to celebrate your achievements.🎉
