Is it a big deal if you are not consistent in every way? Let’s remember that your customer can see you 24/7. Everything you do matters! From answering the phone, to your website, to your contracts, to delivering your product or service.
Now what happens if you are not 100% consistent? Would you trust someone who was reliable only part of the time? Would you begin to question their ability if you begin to see problems? Would you start to look harder for more mistakes if you found more than a few? When I see inconsistency I wonder if there are even more that I did not see?
My next reaction is to reconsider doing business with them. I get scared and that fear translates into inaction with the person or company. The next step is movement away from them and to their competitor.
So remember when you are looking at your business make sure everything is consistent with how you want it to be.
That consistency is the sound of success for your future.
