It is a great line from SAP.
So many people are caught up in technology that they have forgotten the human element of business (and life).
We have gone through a very fast paced migration of technology. From dot com to cloud computing to big data to crypto currencies to artificial intelligence. All making things easier for customers and providing more knowledge for businesses. One would think we were approaching nirvana. Right?
Guess again.
If that was the case why do consumers prefer a store combined with their on-line transactions? Why does the CEO of Waymo (Google initiated) say self-driving cars will never be able to drive in all weather conditions without some human input? Why does one of the largest software enterprises position its business future based on feelings? Why not just rely solely on their technology?
After all isn’t technology the driver of everything people need?
I believe feelings play a critical role in every decision. It is not just the head (data) but the heart too that completes the cycle.
By connecting these two parts you have an unbeatable combination.
