Time for Celebration!
I have always found businesses and people miss lots of chances to celebrate. When things go well it is a time to celebrate. When work is moving ahead, it is a good time to enjoin others in the progress. When business expands or new customers come on board, it is a good time to memorialize success. Momentum can be gained by bringing everyone together and sharing good fortune.
Now for the best part- integrate ice cream into the celebration! The key question for me is do we go to a location to celebrate or do we bring the celebration to the office? I like to get out of the office to celebrate. It creates a reward in and of itself.
I like to go to multiple locations to ensure I can maximize my desire for variety of ice cream and create multiple levels of celebration across many stores.
For each location I try a different ice cream treat. I start with double decker scoops always in a dish versus a cone as you can push down harder in a dish which means the scoop can be larger. Then it’s on to sundaes: I prefer hot fudge with vanilla bean ice cream hold the whipped cream as I do not want to get celebrated out too early. (😇) I usually get thirsty now so location number 3 entails a hot fudge soda with cappuccino yogurt and skim milk. ( you must cut back somewhere 😉) I have found by the fourth celebration almost everyone (except you know who) has had their fill and the celebration(s) have been a success, so chocolate mint is a good ending to aid in digestion.
I can never understand why people would not want to celebrate more. I have started early with my clients. After all national ice cream day is the third Sunday in July however given the pleasure I want to share in celebration I started on July 1st.
