Goals for the New Year
At the beginning of every year people set their goals for the next 12 months. And every year about February or March they forget their goals or realize they haven’t started or think they do not matter. All of these actions put you in a reactionary mode relative to what you are doing. You are not heading in a direction as opposed to just treading water.
I have found the critical factor to achieving your goals is to break them down into smaller goals and combine that with breaking down goals into months versus the whole year. In this way you are moving toward your goals and working in a systematic way. Little by little you are accomplishing your objectives. Each positive step moves you closer to your success.
January is seen as a beginning and a month where you were productive. You now are on your path that you established. You are moving ahead. Don’t forget to celebrate each achievement as this will help build positive momentum.
Tip: If you do not make a record of your goals, they are much more likely to end up only as dreams, which are easily forgotten over time. The New Year is here and you have a road to your success. You are on your way to building a better you for yourself and your business.
