How Are Your New Years Resolutions Going?
It has been a month since you established your New Years resolutions. Now, is good time to make sure you have begun to follow through on what you said you were going to do. That you are on the right path to success.
Now, let’s do a little evaluation to ensure you are moving forward.
- Have you moved ahead with all your goals? Even if you have only had minor progress that is moving forward.
- Have you taken the necessary actions to ensure you are successful in heading in the right direction to reach your goals?
- Has there been anything that has impeded your progress?
- Has the market shifted? Have you had to spend more time on something unexpected which has slowed down your progress?
- Did you gain new information which has altered your thinking?
- Did you meet someone new in the past month that could change your resolutions?
- Finally, have your resolutions changed?
- Have you found new areas to focus?
- Did you determine that there are larger opportunities to concentrate on?
- Did you make a mistake with your resolutions? Are you still 100% committed to your resolutions?
All of these factors could have contributed to your need for a reset or maybe the issue could be resistance. If a reset is needed it is better to change your resolutions now while you have 11 months ahead to reach your goals. If it is resistance, diagnose the problem and determine the solution.
If you decide to change any of your resolutions, you need to adjust your mindset as well. Reset, restart and pretend it is January 1 all over again. Bring the energy that comes from a New Year beginning. As they say hope springs eternal. You are on your way. Recommitted to your “new resolutions”. You still have almost a full year to make it happen.
Good luck!
