“All the world’s a stage.” – Famous words from William Shakespeare .
Well it is time you start acting happy.😁
Yes, lots around us may seem negative. It is important not to ignore the negative. After all with over 80% of our thinking being negative we need to figure a way to deal with those thoughts. It is important to break negative and determine if something positive is in it as well. The reframing of the 80% negativity helps move you forward. For example, missing a train or bus can give you extra time to plan your day in greater detail. The planning could lead to a productive day where you get more accomplished. Having an appointment cancel can allow you to catch up on calls you may not have had time to make.
- Does it matter what you think?
- Does how you feel impact how you react to events?
- Does your emotional state effect how you react to others?
- Does your state of mind influence you mentally and physically?
Yes, yes, yes, and yes!!!!
Don’t expect a total transformation of how you can be more optimistic all at once. Start with a little at a time. Plus I have found it helps to write down how you are seeing things differently. Writing it down memorializes information. It provides details of your growth and is something you can refer to when events don’t go well in the future.
Taking action is the first step to progress.
It helps to be around positive people too as they make you feel good and help you see things from an optimistic perspective. These are a couple of examples of how you can maintain optimism even when it may be difficult.
After all hope springs internal and yes eternal as well. -)
